With a 6-2 overall record, and an undefeated record at home, the Tallahassee Jewels win their Division and earn a place in the playoffs! The Jewels played 6 games against 4 teams in 4 different cities to make it to the 2012 Division playoffs. 
On Saturday, June 23, the Jewels played the 7-1 Atlanta Phoenix and lost, but got some great experience playing a well-coached team. 

2012 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

• 6-2 season record - Undefeated at Home (Godby High School)
• Won the Women's Football Alliance Division 8 Title
• Advanced to the first-round playoffs
• First Team All-American: Gay Steffen - Defensive End played in All-American game in Pittsburgh, PA. 
• Second Team All-Americans: Tori George - Defensive Line, Selena Lamb - Running Back
• Coach Lynnette Alvarado - Oasis Center Woman Trailblazer (2012)
• Over 30 local women on the roster
